Shawn Singh Ghuman

Co-Founder

Shawn is co-founder and advisor of the National Sikh Campaign. His journey to Sikh advocacy began on August 5, 2012, when he helped cover the Oak Creek, WI Gurdwara shooting for USA TODAY. Inspired by the tragic event and the ability that the media has to inform the general public about the faith, he wanted to use his background in marketing and public relations to raise awareness and reduce misperceptions around the Sikh faith. Shawn is currently a Lecturer in Integrated Marketing at Johns Hopkins University and formerly worked at Ketchum, a leading global marketing communications agency. He lives in Boston, MA, where he is getting his Master of International Business from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.
